Center of Excellence on Catalysis and Catalytic Reaction Engineering

Center of Excellence on Catalysis and Catalytic Reaction Engineering (CECC) is the leading research laboratory in the field of catalysis and catalytic reaction engineering in Thailand. The laboratory was established in 1979 by Prof. Dr. Piyasan Praserthdam. In late 1997, the center has become the core laboratory for catalysis research activity in the university and technology transfer from well-established laboratory to other institutes. In January 2001, the center has received international recognition by hosting Bangkok International Conference on Heterogeneous Catalyst, the first international conference on catalyst in Thailand, with over 150 participants around the world attending the meeting.
