Research in Chemical Engineering

The department offers a wide variety of modern laboratories to support both students and staff research activities. The recent acquisition of research equipment under the government and industry supports valued more than 300 million bahts has put the department research infrastructure into the forefront in many disciplines and thus positioning the department for the leadership role in the country and the region.

The department’s emphasis in interdisciplinary research is in response to the nature of knowledge creation and applications in the current world of globalization and information. Its ten research laboratories in five clusters cover all the important areas of chemical engineering researches. All the research laboratories are active in their respective fields with continuing stream of publication output.
