Research Interest
My research interest involves the synthesis of various nanoparticles to be employed as photocatalysts. Currently, we focus on the issue of sustainability by applying our photocatalysts in
- Photocatalytic conversion of carbon dioxide to produce value-added chemicals, for example, methane and methanol
- Hydrogen evolution reaction by splitting water to produce green hydrogen.
Our goal is to improve the production yield of such reactions by
- Modifying the photocatalysts with other transition metal atoms or their oxide;
- Creating a composite with some 2D materials.
