Research in Chemical Engineering
The research activity has always been one of the important missions of the department since its inception to progress the discipline and to serve the society at large. They not only advance the expertise of our faculties but also provide a great venue for close collaboration between our faculties, undergraduate and graduate students, and partners to hone their research skills and to put the Chemical Engineering discipline into action. To foster flexibility, interdisciplinary cooperation, and social impact, the research activities are conducted through 7 research laboratories and the Bio-Circular-Green economy Technology and Engineering Center (BCGeTEC). All research laboratories are equipped with the state-of-the-art analytical and experimental tools. Continuous output of high quality publications is a major component that has propelled the department into the Top 101-150 QS World Ranking for Chemical Engineering subject since 2019.
