Chemical and Process Engineering(International Program)

OVERVIEW

Chemical and Process Engineering (ChPE) is the latest international program offering by Department of Chemical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. This program is managed and operated by Department of Chemical Engineering, not International School of Engineering. This program has been created in response to 20-year National Strategic Plan that elevates BCG (Bio, Circular, Green) Economy to the level of national agenda. Nonetheless, our graduates are still capable of working in traditional chemical and petrochemical industries.

Chemical and Process Engineering (ChPE) curriculum structure has been designed to fulfil the requirement for program accreditation by Council of Engineers Thailand. Therefore, our ChPE graduates would be able to apply and obtain the license to practice regulated engineering profession in Chemical Engineering Discipline. This is one advantage of our ChPE program.

Furthermore, ChPE curriculum structure has also been designed to allow our students the flexibility to participate in co-operative internship with industries or one-semester foreign exchange program without having to alter their study plan. That is another ChPE advantage.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

To be eligible for admission to ChPE Program, applicants must meet the following requirements.

  • He/she must hold a Mathayom Suksa 6 certificate of a High School or other certificate equivalency, which Chulalongkorn University recognizes as being acceptable.
  • He/she must achieve the prescribed minimum test scores in the following 3 categories: English, Mathematics, Science.
