Process control and systems engineering, including process modeling and simulation, design and application of linear and nonlinear control techniques, and optimization of dynamic and static processes.

Current research projects focus on systems such as reactive distillation, solid oxide fuel cell, batch and semi-batch reactor, and continuous stirred-tank reactor
